SEA ISLE CITY – At the city council meeting Oct. 25, two ordinances were tabled because each still needs enabling measures.
The first concerns the amendment of an existing “encroachment” regulation that will improve “bump-out” esthetics. That ordinance needs to be reviewed by the municipal planning board to ensure consistency with Sea Isle’s master plan.
The second ordinance tabled concerns the reduction of speed limits along Landis Avenue. Before the city council can vote, it requires a county resolution as it is a county road.
The encroachment ordinance will come up for public hearing and final adoption at the Nov. 22 council meeting. The Landis Avenue speed limit reductions will come before the council Dec. 13 for a public hearing and final adoption.
