COURT HOUSE – Sample ballots have been mailed to all active voters in the county for the School Elections taking place on Tuesday, April 20. The candidates, public question, polling place and location are on the sample ballot.
The Cape May County Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, April 17 for Mail-In Ballot Applicants for the School Elections taking place in every municipality. The special Saturday hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
“In the week before the school elections applicants for Mail-In Ballots must apply in person at the County Clerk’s Office.” explained Rita Marie Fulginiti, County Clerk. Applicants may designate a messenger with a completed Mail-In Ballot Application to apply in person on their behalf. A messenger will be required to show photo ID. A messenger may not be a candidate on the ballot. The deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot is 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19.

The County Clerk’s Office is located at 7 N. Main Street in Cape May Court House. Voted Mail-In Ballots must be received at the Board of Elections by the close of polls on Election Day which is 9:00 p.m. For information call 609-465-1013.
