WILDWOOD CREST – Borough Commissioners passed an amendment to its salary ordinance Nov. 6. The former ordinance, adopted Feb. 6, 2019, was repealed and replaced.
The salaries and compensations cover both full and part-time employees, including carpenters, chief emergency medical technician, chief housing inspector, confidential secretaries, and commissioners. According to the ordinance, a commissioner’s salary ranges from $14,000 (minimum) to $44,500 (maximum).
An assistant to the Beach Patrol chief (part-time, per day) will make a minimum of $50, and a maximum of $150. Ranges for keyboarding clerks were set at $20,000 (minimum) to $40,000 (maximum).
