PETERSBURG – During the public comment portion of the township committee’s Sept. 12 meeting, a resident suggested that the township acquire an abandoned property.
It is in the vicinity of the Godfrey Park area on Route 9 at Osprey Point.
She suggested the township could expand the park premises for residents.
“The Township would be helping both residents by enlarging this area and also would be eliminating this blighted house from the landscape,” she recommended.
