Pool Question to Appear on Ballot

By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – Sea Isle City Council passed a resolution Aug. 13 to provide for a ballot question and “interpretative statement” at the next general election (Nov. 5) regarding the disposition of the former school building on Park Road.
Solicitor Paul Baldini said this ballot question would be “non-binding” and would be considered as “another tool to take input from all sources” in deciding how to proceed.
Sea Isle City administration has held town hall meetings and received public comments about the extent to renovate the building and whether the project should include a pool. Council also confirmed that an online questionnaire would be available for non-resident homeowners.
