Police, Firefighters Revive Man on Beach Suffering From Apparent Heart Attack

OCEAN CITY – Ocean City police and firefighters responded to reports of an unconscious, unresponsive fisherman on the beach near the Ocean City – Lonport Bridge at about 8:55 a.m. Aug. 31, according to OCNJ Daily.
The man had suffered an apparent heart attack.
A police officer, who was first on scene, began chest compressions and Ocean City Fire Department EMTs followed with an electronic defibrillator.
The man was taken to a waiting ambulance, which transported him to Shore Medical Center.
According to OCNJ Daily, the man’s current condition is unknown but he is expected to survive.
