Pinelands Municipal Council Officers Sworn In at Reorganization Meeting

WOODBINE – The Executive Committee of the Pinelands Municipal Council were sworn in March 8, 2016, by Mayor Kenneth T. Palmer, Mayor of Manchester Township, at their reorganization meeting at the Manchester Township Municipal Building.
Officers are: Chair, William Pikolycky, Mayor, Borough of Woodbine; Vice-Chair, James Renwick, Designee, Shamong Township; Secretary: Karen Vaccaro, Designee,  Manchester Township; Treasurer: Stephen Teasenfitz, Mayor, City of Estell Manor;  Member at Large: Deborah Buzby-Cope, Mayor, Bass River Township.
Upcoming meetings of the Pinelands Municipal Council will be May 24 at Weymouth Township (Atlantic County); July 28 at the Pinelands Commission HQ; September 27 atEstell Manor City; November 29 at Shamong Township.
Designees from the Pinelands communities are urged to attend these meetings.

“I would like to acknowledge our outgoing Treasurer Richard Franzen, who will remain as the Designee for Tabernacle Township. Rick served many years on our Executive Board,” added Chairman Pikolycky. “I congratulate Steve Teasenfitz on his selection as our new Treasurer and thank Mayor Palmer for his hospitality.”
The July 28 meeting will be a joint meeting with the Pinelands Commission, and will include a Pinelands Orientation for newly elected or appointed and an update for other elected or appointed municipal officials. This orientation will be at the Richard J. Sullivan Center, 15 Springfield Road, Pemberton Township, NJ.
