WILDWOOD – According to Mayor Ernie Troiano, the Water Tank Evaluation and Improvement Program will be completed in the fall of 2019, with the painting of the tank at Garfield Avenue.
Due to the summer and filling the tank, the painting was postponed. City officials confirmed that the tank was primed and will be tested for bacteria levels.
The mayor said the tank must be filled in order to increase water pressure in the city’s lower section. A resolution increased the payment to Allied Painting by $242,900. The new total is $2.5 million.
