WILDWOOD – The long-discussed Pacific Avenue project received a boost, as City Commissioners passed an amendment Nov. 27.
According to the amendment, the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) previously awarded a $12 million grant for flood remediation; however, officials said the original amount was not sufficient to carry out the project.
The project amount was raised by $150,000, for an aggregate sum of $1.7 million. According to the ordinance, the project’s total cost, including the $12 million grant, is $26 million.
