PETERSBURG – Blanche Adams, president of the Upper Township Business Association, asked Upper Township Committee Feb. 25, “We’ve been reading a lot about marijuana dispensaries and that New Jersey will soon be offering them even for recreational use. Mayor Richard Palombo replied, “According to state law, there are only a handful, maybe now around five dispensaries permitted under state law, and they are only for medical marijuana. I am not personally opposed to medical marijuana but recreational use is another story.
