WILDWOOD CREST – Borough Commissioners introduced an amendment Sept. 4 regarding the construction code.
Changes include a moratorium for “demolition, pile driving, and house raising” from May 15 to Sept. 15. Construction activities and landscaping may commence between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Saturday hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
No work will be permitted on Sunday, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and July 4, according to the amendment. Increased regulations for property maintenance and dumpsters/debris containers were also included.
