ERMA – Beginning Nov. 1, and for the month, the Lower Township Police Department, along with many other agencies across the county, will be participating in “No-Shave November.”
One of the goals of “No-Shave November” is to raise cancer awareness by embracing hair (which many cancer patients lose) and letting it grow wild and free, according to a release.
Another goal is to use the money typically spent on shaving and grooming, to educate about cancer prevention, save lives and aid those fighting the battle.
All event proceeds will be donated to Briana Pfeilmeier. She is the 25-year-old fiancé of Middle Township Police Class II Officer, Joni Frangieh. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast cancer. This initiative will help pay for her medical bills and treatment.
The public should not be shocked when they see one of the local officers sporting a beard, goatee or a longer than usual hair length; it’s all for this cause
If anyone else would like to donate, the department will also be collecting donations through Nov. 30. All money collected will go directly to Pfeilmeier.
Checks can be made out to Briana Pfeilmeier. These donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Lower Township Police Department, 405 Breakwater Road, Erma, NJ 08204.

Cape May – I am enjoying the meltdown from so many Leftists on president elect Trumps picks for his cabinet and their stating that he is bringing on people with zero experience in government. Yes, you nailed it…
