VILLAS – Beginning June 17, Lower Township’s Recycling Center on Seashore Road at the public works facility will be open seven days per week.
“We want to make recycling is convenient for our summer friends and our year-round residents; so, they can dispose of their household trash, recycling which includes rigid plastic such as children’s toys, scrap metal, refrigerators, air conditioners and branches and leaves,” said Township Manager Mike Voll. “We want to keep the community clean,” he said. “This is just another effort to keep items from being illegally dumped in the wooded areas of our township.”
The recycling center is open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The center is located on Seashore Road at Academy Road.
