OCEAN CITY – Sept. 25, 2016, the Ocean City Longport Toll Bridge will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. until approximately 10 a.m. The closure is due to the annual Ocean City Half Marathon. Motorists should make every effort to avoid this area and make plans to take alternate routes.
This closure is only for the area located between the Toll Booth and the first Traffic Light. Motorists traveling to Longport and the Downbeach communities can use Route 52 Causeway to access roads leading to those locations.
