COURT HOUSE – Recreation Aide Tim Johnson was honored at Middle Township Committee’s Feb. 6 meeting, as the municipality’s employee of the month.
Johnson has been described by Recreation Department supervisors as “a behind-the-scenes contributor” to the success of the department’s youth programs. He is especially identified with the men’s basketball league, in-house basketball program, and coed volleyball league.
Business Administrator Kimberly Osmundsen called Johnson “a role model for the youth who use the recreation centers.” It was Osmundsen who nominated Johnson as employee of the month.
Johnson said he was “very surprised,” adding, “It is an honor to be recognized.”
