WILDWOOD CREST ─ Residents and family members with physical difficulties requested additional handicap parking July 11. According to resident Larry Francis, two spaces were lost at the former library parking lot due to a fence. Francis asked if any “temporary provision” could be made for beach access. Commissioner David Thompson said, “We (commission) can take a look and see what we can do.” Police Chief Joseph McGrath suggested the fence be moved back 15 to 20 feet and designate two handicap accessible parking spaces. Increasing public parking is also being determined.
