Dennis Township to Hold Planning Workshops

DENNISVILLE — Dennis Township has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the state Office of Smart Growth to prepare Form-Based Code guidelines for five of the township’s designated centers.
The Town Centers include Ocean View and Clermont along Route 9 and the designated Villages include Dennisville, South Dennis and South Seaville.
According to a release, the goal of this project is to create a shared vision for the future of Dennis Township that will maximize the quality of life for residents and visitors and help the township meet present and future challenges. The project will include a series of workshops where the public and interested stakeholders will provide input to the planning process.
The firs workshop focusing on the Villages is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The second workshop focusing on the Town Centers will be on Saturday, May 3. Both will be held in Township Hall, 571 Petersburg Road. Lunch will be served.
