DENNISVILLE – At the Dennis Township Committee meeting July 23, Emmett Vandegrift, a representative from Evergreen Curative LLC, was told the governing body, at this time, is not in favor of a medical marijuana facility or marijuana cultivation facility within the township.
For nearly two years, Evergreen Curative has been seeking to establish support, including its suggestion to have a non-binding referendum, to establish a facility in Dennis Township.
In explaining why the committee won’t move forward, officials cited Evergreen Curative’s proposal is only a concept, lacks a business plan and does not have the detailed data necessary to make a fully informed decision.
