WILDWOOD CREST ─ Borough commissioners have discovered that the agreement with the Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Company is not required to have a tenure of 10 years. Members of the fire company have requested officials to cancel the present agreement and renew standing terms. Discussion over the renewal arose under new business Sept. 5. Mayor Don Cabrera said the borough could ask for a “few” new terms, such as upkeep of the facility. A final decision will be reached at a future date as both parties discuss the matter.
