The Pacific Avenue reconstruction project was approved by ordinance by Wildwood Crest Board of Commissioners by a vote of 2-1 in the fall. A group of residents led an effort to put the matter to referendum by organizing a petition in the wake of the Board of Commissioners’ decision. Borough residents will vote on the issue in a special election Jan. 26.
