County Sets Hearing for Grant Funds

RIO GRANDE — The Cape May County Department of Aging will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comment on its proposed Area Plan Grant on Aug. 20, at 2 p.m., according to Freeholder Gerald Thornton.
The hearing will focus on the 2009 update of the plan that covers services the county intends to fund during 2009.
The hearing will take place in the Meeting Room at the Social Services Building, 4005 Route 9 South here.
Services included are information and assistance, certified home health aide, care management, transportation, housekeeping, legal assistance, respite care, emergency, physical health – dental, outreach, medication management, administration of nutrition and mobile meals, residential maintenance, adult day services – social, adult protective services and caregiver support programs.
