PETERSBURG – Municipal Engineer Paul Dietrich informed Upper Township Committee, at its June 8 meeting, that long-awaited construction and improvements on Corson’s Tavern Road have begun.
“I’ve been working closely with the county engineer to ensure that we are able to give adequate notice to residents and campground users in that area, as committee requested,” explained Dietrich. “As of now, they are working on drainage issues and then will begin resurfacing and additional road improvements.
“Each phase will take about four to five weeks. Traffic will be impacted, and we’ll get the word out and put information on the township website.”
