Coast Guard Joins Fleet Week New York 2019

NEW YORK – The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Lawrence Lawson, a 154-foot Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutter (FRC), homeported in Cape May, participated in support of Fleet Week in New York City, May 22, according to a Coast Guard release.
Another vessel, the Coast Guard Cutter Campbell, a 270-foot medium endurance cutter homeported in Kittery, Maine, also transited Lower Manhattan in support of Fleet Week.
This year marked the 31st year for New York City’s time-honored celebration of the sea services.
