Cape May Beach Patrol Presents Awards

CAPE MAY – Cape May Beach Patrol held its Alumni Dinner Aug. 13. The Guard of Year, Rookie of the Year, Hall of Fame and Clete Cannone Scholarship recipients were recognized.
The patrol awarded its 100th scholarship recipient since its inception in 1984. The event was held in the Penthouse Ballroom at The Grand Hotel.
Cape May Guard of the Year: Lou Vito (Steger Beach)
Rookie Of the Year: Rachel Sandquist (Philadelphia Beach)
Hall Of Fame: Chuck Patterson, Joe Sutter, Pete Pietras
Clete Cannone Scholarships: Elizabeth Canning, Nick Scelso, Madison Sehn, Matt Casaday, Sarah Doherty, James Latch
