CREST HAVEN — At the county’s annual Transportation Infrastructure Conference held Tuesday, Feb. 23, officials said reopening the Beesleys Point Bridge would cost $32 million, or 50 percent more than previous estimates.
According to the Press of Atlantic City, the bridge, which carries Route 9 between Upper Township and Somers Point in Atlantic County, has been closed since 2004 after an old concrete pier threatened to fall into a steel support.
