AVALON — Borough Council Sept. 9 authorized designs, plans, specs and bids for its 2010 spring road reconstruction project at a cost of $38,000.
The project consists of reconstructing the following streets: 15th Street between Avalon Avenue and beach and 26th, 27th, and 28th streets between Avalon Avenue and First Avenue.
The borough applied for a DOT grant for 28th Street.
The 15th Street work will also include upgrading the undersized water main.
