Atlantic Cape Community College students attended the January 22nd meeting of the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders to present Freeholder Director Gerald M. Thornton and the Board of Chosen Freeholders with a large Thank you Card for the County’s Emergency Responders.
The Rotaract Club at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Cape May County Campus presented a handmade thank you card to Freeholder Director Gerald M. Thornton and the Office of Emergency Management to be shared with the first responders in Cape May County for their service during Hurricane Sandy, including the many days of pre-storm preparation and post-storm recovery. The card includes messages from club members and students at the Cape May County Campus.
The club was represented by student officers Sarah Aulenbach of Middle Township, Patrick Kennedy of Wildwood, Zuleika Delgado of Cape May Court House and adviser Michael Bolicki, a social science professor at the college. The club is an affiliate of Rotary International and its purpose is to stimulate leadership development, organize and conduct service projects and follow high professional standards.
