North Wildwood Logo

By Rachel Rogish

NORTH WILDWOOD – City Administrator Ronald Simone informed North Wildwood City Council Dec. 17 of the Army Corps of Engineer’s approval for the proposed pump station. According to officials, the station would occupy the parking lot at Olde New Jersey and Spruce avenues.
The city continues working with the state Department of Environmental Protection on a flood mitigation program. Keeping the emergency access route clear is paramount for emergency vehicles and residents during weather events and other potential emergencies. Simone said Army Corps’ approval is important for the project.
