TRENTON — In this video press release, Assembly members Nelson T. Albano (D-Atlantic/Cape May/Cumberland), Celeste M. Riley (D-Cumberland) and Assemblyman Herb Conaway, M.D. (D-Burlington), the Democratic members of the Assembly Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, discuss legalizing raw milk sales in New Jersey.
Raw milk is milk product straight from a cow that has not been pasteurized or homogenized. The agriculture committee is weighing the economic and public health benefits and drawbacks of legalizing raw milk sales with restrictions in the state.
