By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – At its June 11 meeting, Sea Isle City Council approved various state Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) licenses, which are annual.
One resolution requested the state to issue a conflict of interest ABC license for Freda Sea Isle Inn, trading as Kix’s Lounge and Package Goods, which is owned by Mayor Leonard Desiderio.
Another license was authorized for the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City, where Council President Jack Gibson and Council member Frank Edwardi are members.
A third license was authorized for the Commodore Club, where Council members Bill Kehner and John Feeley are members.
The fourth resolution was for a number of other commercial establishments in Sea Isle City, such as the Lobster Loft and Springfield Inn, as well as Sea Isle City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1963.
