WILDWOOD – Wildwood Fire Department releases their May statistics:
Members of the Wildwood Fire Department responded to 351 fire and medical related incidents for the month of May. Members of the department also conducted 878 Fire Safety Inspections for the month. According to Wildwood Fire Chief Daniel F Speigel, statistics for the month are as follows: 
Quint Company 3 responded to the following incidents:
Fires (including buildings, cooking, rubbish, etc): 8
Overpressure / Explosion: 1
Rescue/EMS (MVA’s, medical assists, water rescues): 63
Hazardous conditions (gas leaks, power lines down, etc): 18
Service Calls (Animal rescues, assist PD, etc): 8
Good Intent Calls (smoke scare, odor of smoke, etc): 9
False Alarms/Calls (malfunctions, malicious, unintentional, etc): 29
Ambulance 3 responded to the following incidents:
Alcohol, drugs, toxins: 16
Bleeding, laceration, abrasions: 10
Weakness, malaise, sick: 29
Trauma, injuries, pain: 79
Seizures, stroke, neurological: 15
Behavioral, suicidal, depression: 15
Cardiac, chest pains, hypotension, hypertension: 12
Respiratory, shortness of breath, dyspnea: 9
Unconscious, syncopal episodes: 4
Diabetic, hypoglycemic, hyperglycemic: 5
OB/Gyn, labor, delivery: 3
DOA: 1
General, other not listed: 17
