WILDWOOD CREST – The Wildwood Crest Police Department received a report of a structure fire at 6300 New Jersey Ave. El Alebrije Mexican Restaurant, in Wildwood Crest March 31 at 10:43 p.m.
Upon arrival of officers and the fire department, smoke was seen coming from the structure. Wildwood Crest Fire Department contained and extinguished a fire in the kitchen of the restaurant. Cape May County Fire Marshal responded.
Upon investigation, the fire was found to be accidental and not suspicious.
