No One Injured in Woodbine House Fire

WOODBINE– Just after 12 p.m., multiple fire departments were called to the scene of a fully engulfed structure fire at 212 Calhoun Ave.
Fire Department Official’s told the Herald at 3:35 p.m. the structure was still smoking and crews would be on scene for awile. No injures were reported and no one was home at the time of the fire.
The home is owned by former Woodbine Council candidate Roger Geene. Geene was seen pulling up to the scene about 15 minutes after firefighters arrived.
The home is for sale, listed on Realtor.com for $349,000.
Firefighters from Woodbine, Dennis and Upper Townships responded to the scene with firefighters from Lessburg.
Belleplain Emergency Corps were on standby at the scene.
The fire is under investigation.
