Mobile Home Heavily Damaged in Oct. 21 Fire

COLD SPRING — All three Lower Township fire companies responded to a 9-1-1 call that reported a structure fire Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 1:20 a.m. at Cape May Mobile Estates when a mobile home was engulfed in flames.
According to police, Scott Fabian told them he believed the fire originated in the bathroom. He was the only resident home at the time of the blaze.
Erma, Town Bank and Villas firefighters brought the fire under control in about 45 minutes. Lower Township Rescue Squad and Lower Township Police Department also responded.
The police and county Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the fire, which was not believed to be suspicious in nature
