Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 1200 block of Holmes Avenue

NORTH CAPE MAY – Firefighters responded to a structure fire Nov. 10 at about 10:45 a.m. When first responders arrived there were heavy flames on the first floor of the two-story dwelling. 
From Town Bank Volunteer Fire Company Facebook:
At approximately 10:50 a.m. stations 60, 61, and 62 were dispatched to the area of Holmes and Indian avenues for a reported fully-involved structure fire.
Assistant Chief 61 arrived on scene and confirmed a two-story wood frame structure fire, heavy smoke and fire on the side with an exposure to the other side.
Crews placed attack lines in service making an aggressive interior attack.
The fire was placed under control shortly after.
All crews cleared the scene roughly two hours after the dispatch. Crews operating on scene were Squad 61, Engine 61, Tower 61, Utility 61, Tender 60, Quint 62, Engine 62, Squad 51 (RIT) and Lower Township (Rescue).
