COURT HOUSE– A fire broke out here at 841 Dias Creek Road on Saturday, March 20 at 2:32 p.m.
Initial dispatch reports indicated two trees were on fire. The caller reported hearing an explosion before seeing the fire, according to radio reports.
Firefighters from station 70 responded to the scene and reported the fire had spread to a structure. Firefighters worked for approximate 15 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
Police on scene did not immediately know the cause but did say the fire didn’t appear to be suspicious. The explosions heard were from propane tanks that were being stored in the shed, police said.
