Cause of Multi-Alarm Seaville Fire Still Undetermined

By Harry B. Scheeler Jr.

SEAVILLE– The cause of a multi-alarm fire that rocked Edward Terrace with explosions in the early morning hours of Jan 22 has yet to be determined according to State Police.
At 3:12 a.m., Seaville, Tuckahoe and Marmora firefighters were called to the scene and reported a detached garage that housed racing cars was fully engulfed. The home adjacent to the garage was also on fire.
Neighbor’s were woken by the many explosions the fire caused when fuel tanks erupted.
It took firefighters about 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
The fire is still listed as an active investigation with the Woodbine Station, according to State Police.
