Boatyard Fire Guts Building

TUCKAHOE — An early-morning structure fire Nov. 25 at Holtz Boat Works here brought response from four local volunteer fire departments.
The 2:35 a.m. fire was reported at the building located at 1301 Roue 631.
First responders found heavy fire on the second floor of a steel-frame structure and quickly requested mutual aid from Marmora, Seaville and Belleplain fire companies.
Upper Township rescue squad responded for rehabilitation and first aid.
The fire is under investigation by the county Fire Marshal and detectives from the State Police Woodbine Station.
