‘Feasting on History’ at HCSV

By On Deck Staff

Historic Cold Spring Village will officially begin the 2009 season with Feasting on History.
This Ninth annual restaurant gala will be held at the Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum, Cape May Airport, Tuesday, May 5 at 6 p.m.
Over 40 of Cape May County’s restaurants and six wine distributors generously donate gourmet food, wine and desserts.
Sturdy Savings Bank is the presenting sponsor. Proceeds benefit the HCSV Foundation Endowment Fund and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
A planning committee for the popular event has been formed, and will meet monthly to organize the gala, which generally draws around 700 guests.
Apart from mingling, sipping wine and enjoying entrees and desserts, guests will also have the opportunity to enter and win a prize donated by local merchants and organizations.
Tickets for this popular event are $70 per person or $650 for a reserved table of 10. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as there will be no ticket sales at the event.
For information on ticket sales or for interested restaurant participants, contact Sydney Perkins at 609-898-2300 ext. 18 or hcsv.org/Special_events.htm.
