CAPE MAY — The Central Jersey Bicycle Club, Inc. sponsored a ride throughout New Jersey on June 12 from High Point to Cape May.
Joining in the 208-mile trek was David Von Savage, former county Republican chairman, Harry Gleason and Tom Roth.
The ride is called The Longest Day, since it links the two longest points in New Jersey, and is also tied to the summer solstice (June 21).
The club has been doing this ride for about 30-years. It was Von Savage’s 10th ride.
