Garden Club Selects July Garden, Gives Scholarship

CAPE MAY — The Garden Club of Cape May selected the home of Lisa Tuerk as the July Garden of the Month.
Tuerk’s home at 227 Windsor Ave. Cape May consists of beautiful hydrangeas, daylilies, shasta daisies and yellow coreopsis.
Alec McAlarnen of North Wildwood recently received a $1,000 scholarship from the Garden Club of Cape May during the County Technical High School awards ceremony.
McAlarnen will be attending Ramapo College in Mahwah. Liz Favre, past president. and Stina Fergurson presented the scholarship.
