Cape May’s Beaches and Harbor Need Your Help

By Sponsored Content

CAPE MAY – We all know how fortunate our area was to be spared the wrath of Hurricane Sandy. However, take a short walk along the promenade, the harbor or any of our beaches and you’ll see for yourself that Sandy did indeed leave her mark.
You can help in two ways. First of all, you can come out to New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May next Saturday, Dec. 8 at 9:00 a.m. to assist with a special Beach Clean Up of our beaches and harbor. Our local clean-up will coincide with the first of several Waves of Action efforts being organized by Clean Ocean Action. You can also help by organizing your own clean-up at a time that is convenient to your group or family. The Nature Center has set up a self help clean-up station next to the main door so that volunteers can come and get supplies at any time.
This is a grass-roots effort that has been organized State wide in the wake of the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy. We all know what caused the problem, please come out and join us by being part of the solution.
