The Dog of the Year will be named at noon, on Oct. 26 at the Port O’ Call, 15th and Boardwalk in Ocean City.
The announcement will be followed at approximately 12:30 p.m. by a Howl-Oween Costume Contest open to all canines.
Twelve local pooches are in the competition, and the winner is chosen by money vote, with funds benefiting the Ocean City Dog Park.
At 1 p.m., pooches are invited to enjoy a refreshing swim in the Port O’ Call pool.
