WILDWOOD – More than 20 people were injured Sept. 14, when multiple levels of decking attached to a building collapsed, NBC 10 reports.
The collapse happened around 6 p.m. at a residence on Baker Avenue in Wildwood during the New Jersey Firemen’s Convention.
It was unclear how many people were on or under the deck when it collapsed.
At least 15 people were treated at local hospitals and released, according to the report.
One patient was airlifted to a trauma center and another was transported by ground to a trauma center. Several other patients remained under observation.
No deaths were immediately reported.
