Wildwood Police Arrest Underage Drinkers

WILDWOOD — Wildwood police responded to a call at about 11:30 p.m. June 2 at 316 East Juniper Ave, Unit 200 and found a large number of underage persons engaged in the consumption of alcohol.
Brendon Britton, 18, of Jackson, was arrested for obstruction of justice and being a minor under the influence of alcohol. He was processed and released on a summons.
Brandon Santana, 18, also of Jackson, was arrested as a minor under the influence and released.
In addition, 19 other adults were observed to be minors under the influence and issued local ordinance violations on the scene.
Ten juveniles were also taken into custody where they were processed and released to their guardians. The accused were students from Jackson area high schools. Police will also be following up with the owner of the property to inform them of their responsibilities under state statutes and city ordinances.
