Wildwood Man Faces Drug Charges

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. The person named is innocent until proven otherwise in court.
COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Wildwood Police Chief Robert Regalbuto announced the March 19 arrest of William C. McNeal, 56, of Wildwood, for the distribution of heroin and cocaine.
According to a release, this arrest was the conclusion of a cooperative investigation between the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force and the Wildwood Police Department Detective Division.   
On March 19, McNeal was arrested during the execution of a court-authorized search warrant at his residence on Maple Avenue, Wildwood.
This search warrant resulted from an investigation targeting McNeal for selling heroin and cocaine from his residence, along with other locations in Wildwood.
Seized during the investigation were distribution amounts of suspected heroin and cocaine.
McNeal was charged with hindering apprehension, two counts of possession  of CDS/Analog, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute CDS (heroin/cocaine); two counts of possession with the intent to distribution  within 500 feet of certain public property; two counts of possession with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school property; and endangering the welfare of a child.  
McNeal was subsequently lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending court proceedings.
Sutherland stated his office would continue to work with the local municipalities to target anyone selling illegal controlled dangerous substances.
He continued to urge the citizens of Cape May County to report any information regarding illegal drug activity and or any criminal activity within the community and that this information can be reported anonymously  through the Cape May County Sheriffs Tip Line at cmcsheriff.net and click on anonymous tip, or through the Cape May County Crime Stoppers at 609-465-2800 or Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office at 609-465-1135.
