OCEAN CITY — The Ocean City Police Department has been conducting an undercover investigation into the sale and distribution of suspected cocaine. The investigation was ongoing for approximately one month.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, the police department, in cooperation with the Cape May County SWAT Team, executed two search warrants, simultaneously, on properties that were involved with the alleged distribution of cocaine.
The properties were located in the 100 block of Central Avenue and the 700 block of Wesley Avenue.
Arrested were Javier Rodriguez, 25, and Alejandro Rodriguez, 23, both of Ocean City.
Javier Rodriguez was charged with conspiracy to distribute concaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alejandro Rodriguez was charged with possession of cocaine.
Judge Richard Russell (JMC) issued a warrant in the amount of $20,000 full cash bail for each subject.
The investigation was conducted by Detective Stephen Schaffer of the Ocean City Police Department.
