Two Indicted for Allegedly Causing Drug Death

COURT HOUSE — Two Lower Township men were indicted Tuesday, March 10 in on charges relating to the death of a 29-year-old North Cape May man last year.
The indictment stated that Ryan C. Bailey Oct. 22, 2008 provided the heroin that Nicholas Rambo ingested resulting in his death.
Bailey, 27, was charged with causing a drug-induced death and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.
Bailey and Warren Gerhard were also charged with conspiracy to commit a drug-induced death. Bailey and Gerhard are also charged with conspiracy possess and distribute a controlled dangerous substance.
According to the state Department of Corrections, Bailey served time in a state facility for burglary from October 2007 to March 2008. He was on parole at the time of the drug-related death incident.
