Two found dead at Cumberland County Farm House

UPPER DEERFIELD- At 12:51 a.m. Tusday Dec 8, State Police were called to 256 Rosenhayne Ave. in Upper Deerfield for a reported shooting at the residence.
The homeowner and caller, Lisa Marcontonis said she heard shots and came to the front room of her house where she saw her live-in boyfriend Joseph Martorana, 57, on the floor, the victim of an apparent shooting.
According to Lisa Marcontonis, her ex-boyfriend (whose name she had previously taken), Theodore Marcontonis, 63, of Vineland, was also standing in the room. As she called 911, Theodore left the house.
Troopers arriving on scene observed a Mitsubishi Montero fully engulfed in flames at the head of the very long driveway to the home. There was a person obviously deceased in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Martorana was pronounced at the house.
Lisa Marcontonis was not injured.
The person in the Montero will undergo an autopsy later today, in which the identity and cause of death may be determined.
The Montero was registered to Theodore Marcontonis, according to State Police.
This crime is still under investigation by the New Jersey State Police detectives from Bridgeton and the Major Crimes Unit with assistance from the Troop A Crime Scene Investigation Unit and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
