Three Indicted for Oct. 17 Home Invasion

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. The person(s) named is innocent until proven otherwise in court.
COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Lower Township Police Chief William Mastriana announced the Dec. 18 Grand Jury indictment of Deshyamma R. Dalton, Michael Woods Jr., and Jeramy J. Thompson-Pierce for first-degree attempted murder, robbery, and other related charges.
According to a release from Sutherland, the indictment was the result of an investigation into a violent home invasion that occurred on the morning of Oct. 17 on Old Mill Road in North Cape May.
Dalton, Woods Jr., and Thompson-Pierce were indicted on the following charges: attempted murder, armed robbery, conspiracy, burglary, criminal restraint, terroristic threats, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and theft.
Sutherland commended all of the law enforcement agencies involved in this investigation and First Assistant Prosecutor Robert Johnson who is prosecuting the case.
